MoveEz to Host Autonomous Vehicle Test Drive Event at “SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026” from April 27 (Mon) to April 29 (Wed)

MoveEz, Inc. (Headquarters: Kanazawa, Ishikawa; Representative Director & CEO: Eric Wei; hereinafter “MoveEz”), an AI robotics startup boasting top-tier autonomous driving technology and a proven track record in Japan and worldwide, is pleased to announce its participation in “SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026,” one of Asia’s largest global innovation conferences. In collaboration with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and S.RIDE Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & President: Yohei Hashimoto; hereinafter “S.RIDE”), MoveEz will conduct an autonomous vehicle test drive event and exhibit a technology booth.

Building on over 28 years of autonomous driving research originating from Kanazawa University, MoveEz is advancing the development of robotaxis designed for real-world commercialization. To ensure reliability in challenging environments—such as snow, rain, and intense backlight—MoveEz’s autonomous system utilizes advanced sensor fusion technology, combining imaging radar with LiDAR point cloud data. Furthermore, by employing “mapless” autonomous driving technology that minimizes reliance on HD maps, MoveEz aims to realize robotaxis that can be flexibly deployed across diverse environments, from dense urban centers to complex rural road networks.

This test drive event is conducted in collaboration with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government with the objective of promoting technical understanding and the societal implementation of robotaxis. This event is also widely open to general visitors, offering them the opportunity to experience autonomous driving in the Tokyo Waterfront area using vehicles equipped with the “All-Weather × Mapless” autonomous driving technology (Level 2*) developed by MoveEz.On the Public Day,visitors will be able to dispatch autonomous vehicles through the “S.RIDE” app.By providing a comprehensive experience from app-based dispatch to boarding,we realize a user experience that closely aligns with the actual societal implementation of robotaxis.

Parallel to the test drive, MoveEz will host an exhibition booth showcasing its “All-Weather × Mapless” technology and results from various demonstration trials. Visitors can explore the latest technological advancements and the future potential of mobility services aimed at the early societal implementation of robotaxis.
*High-performance autonomous driving under specific conditions conducted under driver supervision.
