Our Mission
To Realize All-weather, Map-less Autonomous Driving

map-less: Our proprietary technology designed to reduce reliance on high-definition maps

Enabling autonomous driving in adverse weather conditions is a significant technical challenge.

Weather variability presents a major technical challenge to ensuring safe autonomous driving. Adverse conditions such as strong backlighting, rain, or snow can degrade sensor performance due to environmental noise.

Moveez is developing proprietary perception and decision-making technologies that are robust against such weather-related disturbances.
Our goal is to realize all-weather autonomous driving that remains stable under constantly changing environmental conditions. Building upon more than 25 years of research at Kanazawa University—including comprehensive work in perception under adverse weather—we are advancing this technology to support reliable mobility in a wide range of real-world environments.

Realizing Sustainable Autonomous Driving

High-definition digital maps play a key role in helping autonomous vehicles understand the complexity of urban traffic environments. However, as autonomous driving expands its service areas and operates over longer periods, the upfront preparation and ongoing maintenance of HD maps present a significant cost burden.

Moveez is developing a map-less autonomous driving system that relies minimally on conventional high-definition maps by leveraging its proprietary perception technology to understand road environments.
This approach enables a more sustainable form of autonomous driving that can adapt to changing road conditions over time.
