MoveEz Inc. (Headquarters: Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture; Representative Director and CEO: Eric Wei; hereinafter “MoveEz”), an AI robotics startup boasting world-class technology and a proven track record in autonomous driving, announced today that it will collaborate with S.RIDE Inc., Sony Corporation, and Sony Music Solutions Inc. to conduct a demonstration combining autonomous driving technology with cutting-edge immersive technology for next-generation in-car entertainment. The ride experience for this vehicle can be booked through the taxi app “S.RIDE.”
■ Background and Purpose of the Field Test
This field test will be conducted at the entertainment festival “CENTRAL MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT FESTIVAL 2026” (hereinafter “CENTRAL”), held in Yokohama Minatomirai from Friday, April 3 to Sunday, April 5, 2026.
This initiative is a new co-creation of “Next-Generation Mobility x Entertainment,” combining MoveEz’s autonomous driving technology with “Spatial Reality Displays” (glasses-free 3D displays) and 3D audio provided by Sony Corporation (hereinafter “Sony”), and IP deployment managed by Sony Music Solutions Inc. (hereinafter “SMS”). Collaborating with “Kessoku Band,” the in-story band from the TV anime “Bocchi the Rock!”, the project offers a new ride experience that transforms the in-car environment during transit into a fully immersive entertainment space.
MoveEz resonates with the next-generation mobility concept of upgrading the mobility space into a new entertainment space in anticipation of the widespread adoption of autonomous driving technology. In this PoC (Proof of Concept), MoveEz is responsible for providing the test vehicles equipped with autonomous driving technology (Level 2) and managing their operation. The company will provide the technological foundation and operational system to support safe autonomous driving tests on public roads in Yokohama Minatomirai.

■ Field Test Overview
This field test is conducted as a Proof of Concept (PoC) to verify the potential and new value propositions of in-car entertainment in autonomous vehicles.
- Dates: Friday, April 3 to Sunday, April 5, 2026, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Location: Yokohama Minatomirai Area (Around the CENTRAL event area)
- Experience Details: An immersive content experience (approx. 5 to 10 minutes) featuring “Kessoku Band” from the anime “Bocchi the Rock!”, synchronizing glasses-free 3D video, 3D audio, scene-matching scents, and character voice narration inside an autonomous test vehicle (Level 2).
- Target Participants: General public (up to 2 passengers per ride)
- How to Experience: Tap the “Kessoku Band” icon on the top right of the “S.RIDE” taxi app screen to select the limited-edition vehicle. Specify a boarding point around the CENTRAL event area to book the experience. An autonomous test vehicle (Level 2) will arrive at the specified location for boarding. After boarding, passengers can select their destination from three locations: K-Arena, Rinko Park, or Red Brick Warehouse.
- Fee: Free of charge
- Number of Vehicles: 2 vehicles
- Safety System: To ensure safety, a driver will be present in the driver’s seat to monitor the driving conditions (Level 2).
Moving forward, MoveEz will further accelerate its business deployment and strive for the early social implementation of fully autonomous robot taxis.

■ Representative Comment
Eric Wei, Representative Director and CEO, MoveEz Inc.
“MoveEz was born from the conviction to achieve ‘Freedom of Mobility for everyone.’ Our goal is the social implementation of fully autonomous robot taxis, and the establishment of its core: a ‘Level 4 Autonomous Driving Intelligence (AI Driver)’ equipped with superhuman safety and judgment.
In addition to our track record on extremely difficult snowy roads, we are very pleased to conduct this field test under complex conditions in the urban environment of Yokohama Minatomirai, where pedestrians and general vehicles intensely mix, and moreover, during nighttime.
When freed from driving by autonomous technology, the interior of a car evolves from a mere means of transportation into a personal, free space. We want to provide unprecedented excitement and surprise during the travel time from departure to destination. Through this next-generation in-car entertainment experience, I am confident that we can refine future mobility services together with our users.
This demonstration in Minatomirai, where diverse forms of mobility coexist, is an important step proving that our technology is on the verge of practical application. MoveEz will advance its business at full speed to realize a society where robot taxis are the norm.”
